Great building post! I sure will be stealing some of your ideas for my next build. I already have another tiger waiting.

Did you get to measure where you ended having the CG on your tiger? I’m having the same problem you mentioned earlier with mine. I can’t get it to slow down to have confortable landings. I’ve been experimenting with the CG but once I add the right amount of weight to the tail, to have nice landing characteristics, it just doesn’t feel right for aerobatics, especially when I try to pull a hard corner to go vertical, it kind of waggles and momentarily tries to roll. Something that doesn’t do when it has the CG a bit forward.

Thanks Gerd. To be honest I just kept removing the small bit of weight I had in the front (moving the CG rearward) untill I got it where I wanted. I haven't since placed it on my Xicoy CG balancer to give me the actual CG distance. I also played with prop selections varying both length and pitch. I started off with 16x8 first, then changed to a 15x8 then tried a 15x6. Of all the props, I like the 15x6 best for throttle response. I am happy now with where it's at and it has slowed down my Tiger on landings. Good luck with yours, don't be afraid to try different props!
