After building the first side, I build over the top of is, as per the plans.
Iíve already hit something I need help with. Take a look at the instructions, paragraph where it talks about vertical cross pieces at C D N. Not sure what itís talking about and donít see anywhere on the plans ďNĒ location.

Also, it tells you to bevel the inside edges so both are equal to rudder of 3/16”. What’s a good way to do this? I would think sanding would be the easiest but not while pined to the board.

Sanding is what I do, when I've got the main formers in and I'm pulling the two sides together, then a thin piece of ply with sandpaper glued to both sides...stick in between and slide back and forth. I do not worry about getting it the same thickness as the rudder. No one will notice it, and it will have no effect on flight.

Man, what a learning curve. After studying the plans over several more times, I found the references the instructions were talking about. It was on another part of the plans. So the build is back under way. The sheeting was way more tough than I had imagined it would be. Not only is it curved and tapered, it also was at two angles, so it had to be done in two stages. It turned out fair. I ended up using windex to soften the sheet of balsa, worked well.
