Default Pica P-40 E Kit 1/5 scale Anyone Built One?

Hi All, I just cracked open the box on my new project, Pica P-40E in the 1/5 scale, Any of you that have built one please share some advice, I have built many kits but, this is my first Pica kit. It appears to be great wood, very nice lazer cutting job and very neat packaging. However no decals included.............

Thanks in advance....Bud

Hey Chris, I have been looking it over, I anticipate starting on it in the next couple of weeks. I have a fly in saturday that I am CD at, need to get that out of the way first. I don't think this kit is going to be that bad, when are you going to start on yours? I am anticipating about four months of evenings and weekends to finish it up, what do you think? and have you ordered decals yet? Bud.......

I have this kit but no instructions! Does Pica have a website where I can find more info on this plane?

Thanks,
Troy

I built and fly a 1/5th scale PICA WACO YMF-3 and liked the kit and like flying the plane. it is powered with a Zenoah G23 gas engine. I just recieved my PICA 1/6th scale WACO YMF-3 and plan on building it this late winter. May go with a Saito 100. The kits have alot of plastic that I didn't use. I didn't use there plastic wing fillets or aileron covers. Don't get in a hurry. PICA used a lot of 5/32" balsa which wasn't easy to come by if you messed up and wanted to re-do. I believe I got replacement from them.
