Default Best type of CA adhesive for general use?

What is the best type of CA adhesive for general use when building balsa/ply "built-up construction" kits?

Many Thanks,

If you only want to buy one bottle to build a kit, I would recommend the medium. A small bottle is enough for a 40 size plane.

Myself, I use mostly Elmers glue but I keep a bottle of thin Ca for situations where I want the glue to wick into a tight fitting joint.

Ditto on the medium. The only other type I use is thin, and (to me) that's only for special uses (like CA Hinges)

Yep, medium is my favorite, with thin as second. Aliphatic for sheeting & 'sandable' joints.. Epoxy for those jobs that require epoxy!

I use a lot of both thin and medium. To join 2 parts that I can stick together I put medium on the joint and put the parts together. If I have parts that have to be fitted such as wing ribs I use thin after the parts are laid up.

Ca has the ability to act as a solvent for itsself. So after I use the thin I go back over the joints with medium or even thick to form a fillet. This method builds a strong joint. This method has served me well.

OK, I'm building a 1/2 A size kit. So far, the fuse box has been put togeter with thin CA.

The other glues I currently have (aside from epoxy) are medium CA and "R/C Modellers glue" which looks like white PVA to me. Would you recommend that I go over the joints with either one of these?
