can i convert an electric kit toglow power
Ive alwys been interrested in the Lindberg plane The Spirit of St Louis,I located a kit I think it is made by dare ,or something like that, but it's electric and I would really lie to run a saito .30 motor in it .Is this possible.I also want to build ailerons into the wings which the kit doesn't have
but that doesn't seem too hard. any suggestions would be a real help![X(]

That's a nice site!
They say the Spirit of St Louis is around 12oz. A .30 4 stroke would be way too much. You're looking at an .049 size for that plane...

Great planes has a similar plane, [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBLH1&P=7]here[/link] you can look at the manual from this page. It look like the GP one has some sort of pre-fabricated fuselage so it may be different from the one you're looking at.
Whether you're able to do the conversion and what is required will depend on the specific kit, so the way I see it you have a couple of options:
1. Ask in the electric forums to see if anyone has this kit and take it from there
2. Phone up Dare Hobbies and ask them directly if the conversion can be done
