RE: GP Slot Machine
I tossed mine for the same reason. And if I remember right it was kind of weak in the power dept. too. Now I use one with a cord. One of the best gadgets ever made for r/c.

I quit using cordless tools a long time ago for this reason, get 1/2 way into a job and POOF the batteries are dead. I have heard others complain about the cordless slotter dying real quick so yours sounds normal.[]

RE: GP Slot Machine
I have the same problem with mine. I love it and won't even consider cutting slots any other way, but I sure do get tired of charging the battery. I wanted the corded version, but picked this cordless one up off EBay at a price I couldn't turn down. OH, well--------Max
