Default Forming landing gear with music wire?

Greetings
I need some ideas or techniques to bend music wire to form
landing gear. I am working with the 5/32" wire for my 60
size CG Chipmunk. I would like to bend a circle into the gear
like I see in some kit gear for shock absorbtion. Do I need
to build a jig or maybe buy some metal forming tools?
Thanks in advance for your help
Larry
