Default BTE Venture .60 and Saito .80?

I just liberated my saito .80 from my hanger 9 cub ARF (rip).
I want to get a venture 60 and am wondering if the two would play nice.

theoreticaly it would work but im not sure about the balance/power issues.

anyone try this or similar?

if not I may have to try and shoehorn it into a GP venus 40 ARF (need something to fly now)

I think the Saito .80 will be more than enough power for your BTE Venture 60. Mine has an O.S. .61FX and it gets off at less than 1/2 throttle... However, since mine is nose heavy with the lighter O.S. I think your Saito will just make it more nose heavy. If you are still building you could make allowances for this by tail mounting the servos or making a box for the battery in the tail, etc.

In my opinion the Venture 60 cries out for a 4 stroke so I would encourage you to use your Saito. Mine came with the O.S. so I'll fly it this way for a while, but I am sure I'll eventually replace it with a 4 stroke. A YS .63FZ perhaps...

Cheers!

Default Venture 60

saw one fly this weekend with an OS 91FS. Guy flew it at 1/2 throttle all the time----vertical was virtually unlimited. I'm sure you're Saito 80 will be terrific. This is a wonderful flying plane---totally honest airplane, very smooth. I'm sure you'll love it.
