wing warp
What is the best way to get rid of a small wing warp
in a Sig Somethin' Extra wing panel (it is not covered yet
and is not sheeted on the bottom yet)
When I say small, there is about 1/8" or less of difference
in the rib standoffs on my building board from one end of the wing to the other.
Is this a problem?

Yes! That is a real problem. Just imagine flying your plane with one aileron deflected 1/8" and you can see how bad that would be.

Eagle63_Flyer,
Minnflyer's got you on the right track. Without the bottom sheeting, 1/8" is not too bad. If it doesn't, we (RCU) can walk you through a method that'll get it straight.

RE: wing warp
On balsa wings I use steam to take a warp out of a wing. I boil a large pot of water and hold the wing over the pot to let the steam penetrate the balsa. When it starts to give a little I take it over to my building board and constrain it in the shape I want it to hold and let it sit until the balsa is dry. If it still has some warp I repeat until the warp is all gone. Also, I sometimes re-glue the area that got wet if I think the glue was affected.
