Hi all, im new to the forum and are wondering if any of you have built Airsails AOP9 Auster at all? I am currently half way through construction and would like to discuss a few things with others who are or who have built this great kit. Thanks in advance .....

Yep I think a few others have built the 1/4 scale AOP9, but it dosent appear that too many on this forum have... I will grab a digital camera soon and post sum pictures of where I am upto now.

I just took delivery of the .60 version and it appears to be a very first class kit. In fact this is a SCALE kit. I am very interested in learning about your experiance. I have read the plans and directions and frankly I am a little intimidated. Scale hinges etc.
I have started the (Airsail) Beaver and it is for a builder that has scale building experiance. I look forward to your pic's. Good luck on the Auster as it is a real sweet kit. Mikel-T

Ok guys, sorry for my slackness i will get the digital camera out tommorrow night when im back home and take some pictures for you... I have been a little distracted over the past few weeks getting my Heli, Futura SE back in the sky and sorting out some teething problems. So stand by for some pictures.

Richmond RC has the AOP9 kit for 199. Anybody try to order from them. It's in their blowout section. Their website is www.richmondrc.com

I tried to contact them to order, but cannot get a reply. Anyone ever order from them?

I would like to hear more about the Airsail Beaver. It will be my next build. What engine are you considering. I'd likt to put in a 4 stroke but their not much room up front. Maybe some modification. I have a OS .25 FX that will fit. I'll probably use that.

Hi Guys,
The December issue of Flying Scale Models had a 3 page article on this kit. Not much on building but good pictures of a finished kit.
