Default Somethin extra cowl

Looking for a cowl for the Somethin extra. Any one with a cowl from Fiberglass Specialties that can post a picture so I can see what it looks like. I have the engine on its side so the tuned pipe will exit under the plane.
Thanks
Steve

I don't think FS makes a cowl for this plane.

All the cowls I've seen have been 'home made' out of balsa blocks and a lot of carving!!

(And why would you want a tuned pipe on the SE? it's not built / designed for speed... Just curious... Not seen one.. yet.. )

They offer a cowl but have no pictures. I emailed them and there reply was no pictures. As far as the tuned pipe the engine and pipe were laying on the shelf. I see Morris hobbies sells the same engine for there planes and most of them are profile planes that are not built for speed so I figured I would try it. I know most tuned pipes work on the upper end of the rpm so I will use less pitch on the prop. But I might be wrong.

The length of the pipe determines where it will boost the power. By running the pipe longer, you can get more torque down low to turn a larger diameter, more efficient prop.....or, alternatively, you can turn a low pitch prop faster. That's the setup I use on my SE with a YS .45 and a full pipe.
