RE: Great Planes Kaos 40 Plans
The Kaos was kitted in 1995 under the Tower Hobbies name. They dropped the kit a few years later, and now it is only available in ARF. I wish they had kept the kit, it was very popular. well that's the wisdom of manufacturers.
The wing is a double taper (taper chord , taper thickness.) Without the original kit for rib templates, it would be hard to reproduce without an airfoil plotting program. The various ribs are not shown on the plans.
I bought the kit, then copied all the pieces to scratch build one, the kit is intact except for the nose blocks, sheeting and landing gear. The one I built is uncovered, needs final assembly and nose completed. I plan to sell both the kit and the uncovered one, along with the plans and book for $100.00. I won't ship it, so it will have to be sold to someone fairly close to me.
I don't have access to any facility to copy the plans, but as I said, they wouldn't do you much good without the actual parts. Hopefully someone else has a set of plans who can get them copied.

The Tower Kaos 40 was basically a reissued Great Planes Super Kaos 40. You can likely order plans for it.
If you email: [email protected], they can check to see if the plans or instructions are still available.

Now that you mention it, I do remember seeing a "Super Kaos" some years ago, but I didn't know it was originally from GP.
Anyway, I enjoyed building the Tower version, tho the wing was a challenge.
