Default Ziroli Stearman Kit

I'm getting ready to start building a Ziroli 77" Stearman kit for a friend. Anyone know of anything special to improve, expedite, or strengthen during the construction process?

Make sure that the crutch is straight. If the crutch is straight, the fuse will be straight.

Build it light in the rear or youll be molding lead. Make sure you cabanes are tighten down real good your never going to see them again once you sheet the fuse. This is a great flyer and a fun build job. Have a great time.-Mike

Thanks guys.

The owner hasn't delivered the kit yet, but I do have the plans. It looks like I could make a jig using 1/2" copper pipe on uprights to set up centered inside all the bulkheads to keep it straight. Wings are wings, and not really any trouble to get right. With just about any kit, the fuselage is the controlling factor.

After recently completing a Lanier Ultimate Pitts, a Balsa USA Phaeton 90, and a Tharpe Vortex, I should be just about in shape for this project.

I'm always open to tips and special interest points when starting a new project. Thanks again for the info, and I welcome anyone elses' input.
