Default Sig 4* - Problem mounting an Os 46 AX

I'm currently building a 4* 40 (First Kit !). I want to install my new OS 46 AX engine in it, I saw some post saying
that it was not a problem.
My concern is that the engine mount that come in the kit is bigger compare to the plan. If I want to
keep the thrust line center on the prop, the mount is at the top of the firewall ?

Do I need to get an other mount to fit my 46 AX ?

Thanks in advance.

I just finished a kit built 4 Star 40 and used the stock engine mount supplied by Sig. I mounted an OS .46 FX, which I understand has the same mounting hole dimentions as the new .46 AX. It did come out with the mount very close to the top edge of the firewall, but it has worked out just fine. If you can maintain the thrustline and get the mount to still fit on the firewall, I'd say go ahead and use it.

I'm using an OS 46FX on my 4-star. The stock mount works, although I did have to shave the right cowl cheek a bit to clear the muffler and open up a notch on the left side for the needle valve.
