Default Goldberg Bucker Jungmann

Hi,

I just obtained a Jungmann from an estate sale and would like to have information on suggested CG location for this aircraft and also low and high throws. Appreciate anything you can offer.

Thanks, ROP

I recently bought an unbuilt kit from someone. I'm not at home now, but when I get home I'll try to remember to look it up in the manual for you.

OK, here ya go. The throws are set with light ply angle gauges. I checked them with a protractor. The low throws, referred to as "sport" settings are as follows(in degrees):
ailerons 15
elevator 20
rudder 23
The high throws, called air show settings, are:
ailerons 23
elevator 35
rudder 40
The C/G is shown on the plan on the side of the fuselage. The range is 1" fore to aft with the center of the range directly over the center of the spar in the bottom wing.
I believe biplanes are usually ballanced at the top wing but that's what the plan shows.
Did you know this model was designed by Dave Patrick? He gives some flying tips in the back of the manual.
