Default "Rudder speed-brake" enabled BT Delta Vortex video

Here is a video of my friend's DV...

http://perso.wanadoo.fr/rcu-stuff/landing%20dv.avi

Without these rudder speed brakes, landing is no easy task, as this bird really does not want to get down ! Three-blade prop also helps much in slowing her down....

thanks for posting my landing strykaas, here are two self explanatory pic of a mod I highly recomand on that plane.... retract instalation is nearly impossible on the ARF, but on the kit, this really improve the plane look in flight

What kit is your plane, or is a scratch built?

Did you use mechanical retracts or air?

hello,
the plane is a BTE delta vortex. Bruce tharpe produce very hig quality kit

www.btemodels.com

this is a highly modified kit, I shortened the engine box one inch, builded a engine cowl, placed "vortex style droopy wingtips", relocated the tank and radio stuffs, instaled a inflight data eagletree acquisition unit and instaled a robart 605 HD pneumatic unit.
when I started the building, I joined a building thread, all the constructions pictures of the mods are there.
either mine is on the heavy side due to all the mods, the final wingload is comparable to the wingload of a trainer. It has unlimited vericals with a 91FX and fly like a bird !

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_13...tm.htm#1304245

you will see on that thread construction pics of 3 diferent DV including mine .

Phil

if u want the file containing all the building pics of mine, just PM me
