Default Goldberg Ultimate Landing gear!

Hi Guys: I know this has been asked before but I'll be dipped if I can find the thread. I am doing the Ultimate and don't want to go with the gear that came with the kit and was wondering who made a good after market gear for this plane. Thank ya much!

Stan's Fibertech sells a nice aluminum gear for the Goldberg kits, or at least they did. The gear equals the quality of his cowls, which are excellent.

I took a look at the page and it's what I am looking for and will order it. Think I will go with the 3/16th over the 1/8th thickness. I thank you much!

Hi Art,

I flew that same set of TnT upgrade gear for the Carl Goldberg Ultimate on a World Models Ultimate 120 for a couple of years. It holds up great!

I used a fibreglass gear for mine. Liked the idea of it not bending but instead it split lenghtwise. Now I'm gonna go with aluminum and need to know if anyone knows how wide front to back they are. The fibreglass one was 1 1/16 wide and I built the bottom of the fuse to accept 1 1/16".
Still new (8 or 9 flights) so still getting to know each other but what a great airplane!!
