Recent VMAR Kit?
Has anyone bought a recent new VMAR kit. I did read an article/review about the T-34 and potential points to better the airplane.
I am looking to purchase the Harvard II (attached) but have heard some good and bad things from many at RC Universe. I know the company recently revamped its company in order to improve its product but before I buy I would like to see some feedback wrt quality of recently purchased kit.

Recent VMAR Kit?
A guy at our club just maidened on a couple of weeks ago. He was very pleased with it and it looked great. He mentioned he only made a small number of changes to suit his tastes (fuel tank as I recall). It was not the harvard II you picture but the T-34, I think.
Sorry I have no first hand experience.

Recent VMAR Kit?
G'Day Canuck,
Been flying the smaller version (59") VMAR PC-9 for quite a while with absolutely no problems. I think it's the same model as the Harvard but has the Australian 'Roulettes' colour scheme.
Using a T.T. Pro 46 which seems about right
Just finished the VMAR Tomahawk which went together quite well.
The assembly instructions are much improved with a 24 page colour printed handbook. (still a few silly errors, like a picture of the flaps extending upwards, not downwards !) The Tomahawks delivered to Australia have a modification with the elevator servo now mounted in the fin, spoils the 'scale' look a bit but I guess they had trouble with the linkages. The hardware supplied is much improved over the original examples.
Sorry I haven't flown it as yet, but I expect it will handle well.
I know a few people are critical of VMAR but I'm happy with the PC-9 and they are a lot cheaper than many of the other ARF's.
Let's know if you need any more info or pics.
Regards,
Bill
