[] Ok one last trick of the trade being requested:

when matching up the wing and fuse, as one sands the wing saddle to make a nice fit, how does one insure that the
wing is horizontal to the fuse, especially when the wing has a small amount of dihidrel in it? I want to make sure
that this plane is really squared up? There must be a magic ( probably so obvious I cant think of it) trick. you cant
use a right edge? or does one measure from top of fuse to middle of wing? but if wing is not perfectly square this will
give you a bad reading!!!..... Ok guys do your magic stuff!!!!

If you hear rubber bands popping it is because I have the fuse all rubber banded up to check fit. Had to square off and
sand the slots for the pieces as they had rounded edges on the fuse and square on the formers and top and bottom pieces.
I checked squareness and it was right on but I am going to nail the bottom per instructions last night so the sides and top do not twist...... that was good advice.

If I am understanding your question correctly, you are NOT referring to the wing incidence, but rather the vertical accuracy of the fuse to the wing. If so, simply measure the side of the fuse from the edge of the cockpit to the highest part of the wing saddle, and make sure measurement is the same on both sides. It may help if you alternate sanding the saddle from one side to the other as you go to prevent hogging off too much on one side. When all is said and done, mock up the assembly and stand back and look at it from the front or rear. If it looks like your fuse is cocked to one side, you know you need to work on it a little more. That part is not as critical as the incidence and making sure the wing is aligned with the tail feathers (again, stand back at a distance, and look at everything together and make sure it looks straight).
