sig 4*60 or hog biplane
Hey guys I have been back flying for about 3 years now. I have been flying a ultra stick 60 a great planes 1/4 scale cub and a 40 size trainer plus some park flyer's. So here is the deal I got a 60 size 540 edge a few weeks a go and it crashed on it first flight total lost not real sure what happened but I think it was more me then any thing so here I am needing some thing new. I have a 14 year old son that is also learning to fly and at his request the ultra stick 60 will be his when he is done with the trainer so it has been put up to save for him. looking back on the edge I don't think that I am ready for that yet. money is tight now that I have to fund 2 R/C flyer's so it will be a kit this time so which one would you guys get also I what some thing that is fast to build and will not cost me an arm and leg in extra's to finish. I will be putting a tower .75 on it.

RE: sig 4*60 or hog biplane
i framed the * .60 in one weekend or less.
it's a clean laser cut kit. Easiest kit i've built to date.
i clip the wing total 3" , take the diahedral out, extend the rudder,
to make it more aerobatic, but it's still gentle as a kitten during dead sticks.
the 4 * kit is complete with hardware
i costed me less than $140 to build it.
3 rolls of monokotes, 12oz tank , spiner, ca and epoxy.
i used the wheels, pants and landing gear from .60 extra asap.
you can probably take some of these items from the edge540

Come ON! You know you want the Bipe!
Seriously, if you're unsure of your abilities the Four Star might be a better idea. They're quite stable and fly nicely, but do get tossed around by the wind a bit. Not as much as that Cub though.
Good luck,
Dennis-
