Default Shear Webs - Tower Hobbies Uproar 60

I'm building an Uproar 60, my second kit. I'm at the step of installing the shear webs. I know the grain runs vertically, per photos in the manual. I did a search on 'shear webs' and saw in one thread that the webs should be fitted and glued to the spars and ribs. My webs are 3/32 x 3" sheets. Some of my ribs are spaced wider than 3". On my plans, the webs in these bays only tie the spars together and do not touch the ribs. Is this OK, or do I need to cut some skinny strips and fill the bay from rib to rib? If I don't mind doing the extra work but would rather not do it if it's not necessary.

DM is correct. It is only important that they are glued to the top and bottom spar.

I cheated on my last webs. Instead of trying to fit them between the spars I just glued them to the face of both spars. Seems pretty stiff. Time will tell. I also used poly glue to bond my sheeting so I figure I made up some strength there.
