Default Sullivan composite linkage

have a quesion. I have some sullivan composite linkage (tube withing a tube) to use in the tiger 60 for the elevator and the
rudder. their information sheet says that the inner tube cannot extend beyone 1 " from the outter tube unsupported. However, it did say on gaps larger than 1 " you could use longer 4-40 rods.

My question is that I do not want the tubes extending past where they exit the fuse, and the distance from there to the
rudder and elevator is about 4-6" is this ok or will the sullivan not support it? I was told these are very good rods to use.

Please advise.

Thanks

Default RE: Sullivan composite linkage

If this is the stuff with the soft black center you must not go more than 1".
