SIG SE Wing Mounting question
Hi everyone. I just purchased an almost built Sig SE. How are the wings secured to the fuse? This plane is new and almost built, and he had lost the instructions and additional hardware.
Any hints and tips would be appreciated!!
Thanks, Kyle

RE: SIG SE Wing Mounting question
Slip them on to the main spar (metal) tube and secure them with a #64 rubber band between the J hooks on the wing halves. - Then add a ty-wrap as a safety.

RE: SIG SE Wing Mounting question
In addition to the "j" hooks on the front of the wing, there is a dowel that runs underneath the servo tray that extends out each side of the fuse. The wings slip onto these for stability and the hooks hold the wings to the side of the fuse. I do not have the size of the dowel, but it matches the small hole on each side of the fuse.
