Default Great Planes Pete N Poke

I have been considering building this Plane, and just wanted to get some reaction about this Plane(Kit). It would also be nice to see some photos of some completed to give me some ideas on color schemes.

Default RE: Great Planes Pete N Poke

I though the quality of the kit was marginal but, with some minor modification it made a pretty neat airplane. I used some of the other threads on this site to get some help and incorporated a number of the improvements in my Pete N Poke. I finally finished it today. Looking back at some of the digital pictures I took I found that it took about 10 weeks to complete (4 nights a week and Saturdays). The review was right on target when it said this plane was for intermediate builders. The only plane I built before this was a box fuselage trainer about 15 years ago so I was not an intermediate builder when I took on this project. I guess I qualify as one now though.

Here are some pictures of the completed project

Good luck with yours,
