Default I really like this Tiger 2!

I think this is going to be my windy day plane! Very stable so long as I keep a bit of speed in it. I built it as a tail-dragger with 2 aileron servos and a TT .46. Lands like a trainer and very stable in the air. I went to the LHS to buy a Sig 4-star but I'm glad I bought this one instead. I'm sure the 4-stars are great, but they're as common as pig poop around here and it's nice to have something a little different! Besides, that 4-star canopy puts me off a little. I'll have to take a picture and post it if I can keep from re-kitting it that long.

You will still love that plane years from now! I think it is better than the 4 star.

Have a lot of fun!

Ditto, I'll take a Tiger over a 4* any day.

PS, when I lived in Des Moines, Pig Poop wasn't all that common - At least not until you got out of town a bit

I built a Tiger 60 last winter before I had soloed. Now that I have soloed ,I would rather fly it than my Avisatar especially in windy conditions. I stalled it on landing on a hot humid day and dumped it from about 4 feet off of the deck. It broke cleanly right behind the canopy, in two pcs.. An easy repair and it is flying again. It is powered with a TT60. I also had , I repeat had a Tiger 40 that actually was more forgiving than the 60. Much better in the wind.

HI
I am just finishing my Tiger 60 kit and I used the same covering green you did, but I am using white for the detailing. Did you make those decals on the wing and the fusilage? They look perfect? I would be very interested to know how you did it. as
I am ready to put mine on this week end.

any comments would be apreciated.

Walfam,

The decorations on the fuselage and wing were cut from ultra coat. A friend and I spent quite a bit of time with a straight edge and a sharp #11. The wing looks pretty good but if you get close to the fuselage where the stripes go up behind the canopy you will see its not symetrical. I do not know why??? Be careful with that green color, there are lots of trees at my field and on final landing aproach in the evenings visability is an issue. That color scheme can be tricky in low light.

Thanks Francis
