Default Cowl for a SIG Four Star?

Sorry if this is a repeated question. I will be building a SIG Four Star (40 or 60 size) plane this
winter. I was wondering is there a a cowl already made that can be used on this plane? I have no
experience in glassing so that is why I'm posting this question. Is there any links to companys that
make them custom?

Thanks,

I think the guy's name is renderwerks or something like that. He did AMAZING work on a 4*. He made a balsa cowl for his.

If you search for 4 star cowl you may find the thread(s) on it. I made a 4*60 and was going to do this mod but put the plane in before I could get the motivation to do it...

Here are two popular sources for cowls. I have no idea if either has what you need. The second site, or maybe my ISP, was having problems when I clicked a link.

You can also make one from balsa like I did.

The 4* looks just SO much better with the custom cowl! Really sets it apart from the trainer-look that it originaly comes with.

When I built mine, I ordered one of the Kougar Cowl's from sig's website. I think it was like $5.99. It took a little bit of time to shave the cheeks off the front, cause I didnt want to cut too much. But this was my first build, it wasnt too bad. A dremel works great to cut the plastic too.
