First kit attempt ........... Seduction series
I am interested in building something now. I have never done any kits before and was wondering whether the Seduction Freestyle or the Seduction 25 would pose any problems for a first time builder. The freestyle is a 3d plane and the seduction 25 is a pattern plane.
Or am i asking for too much on my plate here??
all your comments would be much appreciated.

I've built a Sig SE and the seduction. They are both laser cut, and easy to build. The difference is that the Seduction comes with sparce instructions. If you are not used to kit building, you might have some considerable problems (they skip steps sometimes). I definatly think that the SE is a good first kit. If you are patient and read the instructions carefully, it's an easy build. I do think that the way that the Seduction designed their wings is much easier to build/align than the SE.

A really good first kit is the Goldgerg Tiger series. (Tiger 2 or the Tiger 60) Straight forward instructions and good second planes. Loren

I agree with the Tigers, although I recently built the 60 version, and it had a conciderable amount of flaws compared to the 40 I built a few years ago. As an example (and there were many such problems) the trailing edge stock for the ailerons was fine, but the trailing edge stock for the wing center section and wing tips was about 3/32" too thin. I had to slap a piece of 3/32 sheeting to each piece to make them as thich as the wings trailing edge. No big problem, but it's the type of thing that can throw a newbee.

Another vote for the Tiger 2. I'm finishing mine up right now.
I don't know about the new kits, but this one does have some bad fitting pieces, and some bad wood in it. The wing tips were too small, and the sheeting for the wing was also to small. Other than those two things everything else has gone together nicely.

I live in the far east ( asia ) . so japanese kits are readily availlable but are pricey compared to GP / Topflite / Goldberg / Sig kits.
the quality of japanese kits are very good as i have read over in some of these forums.
i guess i will wait for more opinions to come in.
