Wow, what a beautiful plane.... i really like the blue tinted canopy. It really ties it into the plane's trim scheme. Have you flown it yet?

I'm such a Slacker!
But every time I see one of these things, it prods me to work on my own.
So far, I've framed up one wing. (Fuse was built when I got it)
I still can't believe how flimsy all that beautifully cut wood is.
I think I'll be in constant fear of ripping it apart in midair
Anyhow... have you flown it yet? How is it with that two-stroker?
I noticed you chose the CG tank location... are you running a pump?
Just curious.
I missed out on getting my YS .63, and probably won't for awhile now.
Thinking of powering mine with an OS .46, or a Magnum 53 XLS. (since I have those already)

I had quite a few problems with it originally with slop in the elevator, and an incidence problem with the wing, but now things are shaping up. With the 12.25X3.75 prop, it's not that fast (trying some pylon props soon), but it sure has power......it'll probably take off at 1/4 throttle, and TONS of power.....I am not running a pump, and the inverted engine is idling fine and excellent power (Irvines Rock!) The wings get pretty stiff after you cover em, I'm not worried about their integrity. The landing gear are a bit spongy, but really help out in a bumpy landing. I love this plane, and am thinking about building a .90 size next.
