Where to buy pilot figures
Get a GI Joe fighter pilot figure and disembowel him - errrr - cut him in half. Mount the remaining upper-half on the deck. Cost? less than $10 and he looks great. For grins you can let his legs hang out the bottom of the fuse.

Pilot figures,
We can supply you with any custom pilots that you need, they are custom made one by one as this is no mass production. They are a little more expensive than what you can get from Tower but they look real and are available in any sizes (bust only or full figures) from 1/5 up to 1/3.

Thanks for all your replies. My new pilot is a screaming, wide-eyed Bart Simpson, courtesy of Toys R Us. He's been de-legged and disemboweled (for weight-savings, of course.)
Now I need something for the Super Stearman. Clifford, the big red dog, with goggles and ears back, or a person? Decisions, decisions.
