Default SIG Something extra space where wing joins fuse

I am buliding the Something extra kit and last night was at the phase where I have to test fit the wings to the fuse. The left wing fit perfectly and was flush with the fuse from leading to trailing edge. Right wing was flush at the leading edge but about 1/8 th of an inch out at the trailing edge.

My questions are:

1) will the 1/8 th gap matter ?
2) should I use some extra balsa and try to fill in the gap ?

Thanks

Mine has this gap also and there have been a few others on RCU with it too. Mine seems to fly fine without any extra balsa. Just remember to fuel proof the ribs.

I added balsa sheeting to both sides (both were 1/16 to 1/8 off in back) and sanded to match the fuse

You can move the tip rib, or put a piece of light balsa on it and sand it to make it fit. I would probably put the balsa on and sand so it fits. That is a pretty easy fix. The gap won't hurt anything, but it makes it look unfinished. Easy to fix it now.
