Default KIT BUILDING A GIANT STINGER

I am kit building my first giant scale gasser. The plane I am building is a giant stinger. I have heard and plan to use all the mods like sheeting the entire wing, reinforceing the fuselage sides and so forth. I have heard from several people though that I should "PIN" the fire wall. What does this mean and how do I do it. Thanks for any help you can offer

Drill small holes thru the side(s) of the plane into the firewall, and with a hard wood dowel of the same size cut and glue into the holes you drilled.

It's extra protection ... especially with the vibration from a gasser.

And use LocTite on EVERY SINGLE Screw/Nut combination.

If something can vibrate loose, a gasser will do it.

Remember their slogan - "Use LocTite - or your nuts will fall off"
