RE: Red Star RC - Russian Yak-3 Kit
Marc, just found this thread and read the whole of it in one sitting, your model is a credit to you. Love the scheme too. I am looking to repaint mine perhaps over winter. Its Roger Sauvage' scheme at the moment, from Normandie Neimen but I fancy a change. Heres a pic of the one I fancy and would really like to know what it says on the fuselage before I decide!! This is where I hope Mihaj can help since he may know what the very stylish writing says on the side.
Heres a video clip of mine, the day was very dull and grey so the quality could be better.

Cheers for a great read, Ian.

The rough translation: "From Ferapont Petrovich Golovatov (name of the person who bought this plane and gifted it to the pilot) 2nd plane for complete enemy defeat."
BTW your Yak is gorgeous. What size is it?

What were the dimensions that you used for the exhaust stacks, and what size tube did you use??? Mine is almost done. I have had a graet time building it.
