Won't jinx you but will give you something to remember it by if you do crash it on the first flight. Just have a expierienced pilot to give you a hand and you will do fine. As for what I'm building UMMMMM Well gotta se what santa brings first.

I'm in the middle of building my second kit, it's a GP Slow Poke sport. I also have a foam Gee Bee park flyer waiting on me and soon will have a Zagi and a TF gold edition P-47 to build. I hope to have all of them built before the first of the year except the P-47, I should be able to start on that some time after the new year. Looks like a great year of flying coming up for me!

Just bought a new kit today, figured the price was right and I have wanted the plane for a few years. Kinda funny how some things you want eventually become yours if you wait long enough.
Anyways, I am workijng on a SIG Ninja, my sencond kit. If you arent familiar, it is a 58" slope soarer with rudder, ailerons and elevator.

Just finished a Lanier Laser 200 in 1/3 scale. (This is a great ARF, by the way! The price is right and the quality is good, in spite of what Chief Aircraft had to say about it.) Will now go on to finishing a Hostetler 30% Super Cub. I got sidetracked on this one last Spring, because the cowl plug Wendell supplied The glass mfgr. had the pre-formed cutouts in an entirely different location from the thrust line on the plans. The Cub is basically finished other than the covering and the (dreaded) windscreen installation. Will probably start something else before winter is over.

Found a 40 size Beech Stagger wing that someone bailed out of... Need to re-kit the fuse and the one wing he tried. I thought the fuse was OK, but it just isn't straight enough. Should take up most of the time between the Honey-do's.

I cant post pix yet, but, if you go to the web site above, select flying field and 11-02, there are about 4 pix of my 4 *120 before its 1st flight. 11-23 shows the new Dazzler built from kit and another 4 * pic.
Sometime, Ill take the time to get the new camera figured out and post some more.

Currently working on the Kadet Senior for the wife. She wants to learn this year. I've modified the wing for ailerons and a single servo to control them. I also have a Somethin' Extra I'm putting together for me this coming year. I think I'm going to put the Magnum XL .61 RFS 4-stroke on it. I have some of the build pictures at My site

I'm building a 1/4 scale SIG J3. My 90 (yes I said 90) year old neighbor saw my planes and decided he wanted to build and fly one for the first time. I'm a firm believer in it's never too late, so I put the resto of my projects on hold and building it with him one stick at a time. I imagine at the pace he is able to keep that it will take all winter. I am taking pictures along the way and will be putting up a web page soon for anyone who want to follow our progress.
Have any of you installed the new "Auto pilot" I see in the magazines? I though that it along with a rudder gyro, might make it possible for him to fly. He is 100% mentally with it and has eyes like a hawk, but the reflexes are slow. Any suggestions would be great. I also found a an old OS FT120 still in the box that we are going to power it with. It should be quite a site to see him fly it. Its amazing to spend so much time with a man who remembers a sky where there were no airplanes. This guy was 20 before he saw his first one! Have fun and I appreciate feedback.
