Default How do you dull covering

I'm almost done with my ME109 and the covering is on order but for the yellow nose all I could find was glossy stuff, Is there a way to kill down some of the gloss so it matches the flat dove gray and olive drab.

Thnx for any help

Default Dull Covering

You could break out your airbrush/paintgun and spray some"dead flat clear" I also think you can find it in a spray can at your LHS. I've used this method in the past with success.

You clean it real good to remove any traces of oil from handling, then spray it with a flat clear paint.

Or you could fly it and clean it with an ammonia based cleaner <grin>.
