Default Flair Yak 55

I just bought a Flair Yak 55 kit. I need a summertime project and boy did I find one. Has anyone built one of these? Any advice would be appreciated. How do they fly? Any modifications I should make? What power should I use? Would an OS 320 be too heavy? What about a Saito 300 or a Moki 180 or 210? Thanks. Dale

Default RE: Flair Yak 55

Hi there. Did you get your Yak 55 finished? I was curious about the construction and flying characteristics of this airplane. This looks to be a nice change from all of the Yak 54's out there. I also wanted to know if you would be able to sell me a reproduction set of the plans? I fly smaller scale than this 79" Yak 55 and would reduce the plans down and attempt to scratch build one. Thank you for any reply, Kurt.
