Default Skybolt needs taller gear

I got a Magnum 120 to stick on my Skybolt, after originally thinking of going with a Saito 100. Due to the larger engine/larger prop, I'm now in need of some taller gear. The Magnum swings a 15x6 for break in, and it gives me about 1 inch clearance when the wings are level. No way could I put a 16x6 on it. Who makes taller gear for the GP Skybolt? Do I dare swing a 14x8 on a Magnum 120?

You can get whatever you want from TNT Landing Gear www.tntlandinggear.com

You may also want to try a three blade prop.

What about a 14x10 APC On the Magnum 120? Thats what I am going to use on my OS 120 in my skybolt.

aerobatixkid, I would not use that much pitch on this plane unless you can land a plane doing about 35 mph. I have a 15-6 on my Skybolt with a Saito 120 and it just will not slow down like a regular bipe. take a look at how thin the wings are on your plane and you'll see what I mean. I plan on switching to a 14-7 3 blade prop to gain ground clearance.
