Default Fiber glassing a fuse

I have an C.G. Ultimate. I am interested in Fiberglassing the fuse. Can anyone give me an idea as to what weight of closs I should use?

I use either .5 oz (1/2 oz) or .75 oz (3/4 oz) fiberglass cloth.

What are you going to fill the huge holes with or how are you going to make the glass taught without ending up with a 15 pound airplane.

Not exactly. The CG ultimate has 3X4 lightning holes in the fuse also a built up wing. I was asking for my own education if for no other reason. I have been using nylon chifon and dope for years, which is a compromise between light weight and glass and it shrinks nicely. I just don't know how it could be done with glass.

It is not recommeded to glass over open structures. If one really wanted to glass such a fuse, you would have to sheet over the openings with perhaps 1/32 - 1/16 sheet balsa. This would add some weight and may be significant in the tail area.

That is what I was insinuating in my first post. I wondered if there was a technique that I could learn from.
