1.08 with no home
Well, another plane goes to the graveyard.... lost my Goldberg Extra when an aileron lead came out and it rolled itself into the ground.... now I have a 1.08 that needs a home.... I heard the Goldberg Ultimate is a good plane for that engine; any info on that combo out there???

The H9 Funtana 90 is another good choice for that engine.
My Ultimate has a big four stroke, but the Funtana is about the same overall size and weight, so I think the 108 would do fine. The CG Ultimate is a wonderful model; the current ARF is a good value too.
Just be careful when fitting the top wing; on mine, the supplied hole for the rear retaining bolt was in the wrong place.

I have a ten year old GB Ultimate with the ASP 108, and a buddy has the same plane with an OS 108. He runs a 15x8 and I use a 14x10, both APC props. These are fine airplanes, and a good combination. As you know, the GB Extra 300 is great as well.

RE: 1.08 with no home
Flying Pilgrim is right, the Lanier Laser 200 is a great combination with a 108.....my second ASP 108 is in one I built last year. The kit leaves a lot to be desired though. Door skin fuselage sides.....I threw mine in the wood pile and ordered some really good light ply from Balsa USA. I threw away the plastic turtledeck and hatch, and made the turtledeck from 1/32" ply (as in the Goldberg kits), and built the hatch from wood. Almost ended up scratch building the fuselage. But the plane came in fairly light, and flies very well with the 108.
