Ultra-Sport 60 Need some help
I am building a ultra-sport 60 from the original plans that I got back in 1989 I built one back then great plane I sold it (big mistake) then I built one from a kit, it got shot down the second day I took it out. Ok I am going to try again the problem is great planes made some changes to the kit plane it has a little more dihedral than the original was this and improvement and should I do this on the one I am building.
Thanks in advance

Yes it looks to me to be different on the original you turn the wing up side down on a flat surface and join the wing on the GP kit you keep the wing right side up and block the tips up 1-1/8 it just looks like a little more dihedral to me maybe I am just confused, it is a lot easier to just lay the wing upside down and glue, but if there is a good reason to do it I will do it the way the kit was done. Thanks

I've built 2 of the GP US 60's, and both were built by blocking up the wingtips. I didn't have any problems doing it that way at all. I can't argue with the way they performed either. Build it by the plans and you shouldn't have any problems.
