SkyShark Hawker Tempest
I am thinking about purchasing one of the SkyShark Hawker Hurricane Kits. Does anyone have any pictures that I could judge it's size with? Does anyone have any comments about this particular kit?

A friend just finished one and had it at the field on Sunday. Not ready to fly just yet but close. I was going to get some pictures but missed the chance. It looked real nice but needed lead in the nose to balance it. He glassed and painted it, so I'm not sure about his weight gain during that or the build. It did look good. Hoping to see it fly this weekend. I will get pictures this time so stay tuned. Mike

Bad News, The owner of the Tempest a guy who just finished a KMP 337 took them both to a field on the other side of town and messed up both on Sunday. That's what they get for being sneaky. Both are repairable and they din't get any pictures. I'll have more info on the Tempest and find out what the problem was. Sorry. Mike
P.S. Let this be a lesson to all. Always wreck your stuff in front of the home crowd. That's what freinds do.

Man I was really pissed about those 2. When they told me the story I just laughed and said " thats what you guys get for being sneaks" Turns out the same guy flew both planes messing 2 up in one day.

I have broken two planes out of about twenty on their first testflight since returning to this wondrous hobby about five years ago.
The common denominator was that I had overlooked to take any static photos of either before that first flight. Since then I have photographed each one before taking them out and no problem.
Of course a good range-check of the radio and doublecheck of all connections and control throw directions etc also helps to lengthen the odds.
