Default CG Ultimate and What Motor?

I've decided to go with two stroke on this one for sure. I'm undecided between the OS 91 FX or the evolution 100. Anyone ever flown these combinations that can lend some advice?

Either should be fine. If you opt for the Evolution, make sure that you can get a Pitts muffler for it (if you don't want to use the stock can). OS has a couple to pick from (Slimline/Bisson). I still can't get used to the appearance of the Evolution engines, but they are reportedly very good performers.

YS 1.10 is the best choice of all, but he said he has opted for a 2-stroke.

Mike, is your Ultimate an arf? If not, what landing gear do you use. I'm trying to find a new UC for my kit built Ultimate. Norm

Yes, I seen that, I was wondering if the YS is going good because I have just started the bottom wing of my cousins Ultimate and I am going to now make an order for 2 NIB YS110FZ's

That one's a ARF. I've built several kits and to be honest, I can't build one as cheap as the ARF. With it I got the gass cowl and pants, the gear (kit comes with wire gear), not to mention covering. I have used the O.S. 91 in all of them and get the same performace. Good Luck. Mike
