Default CG Ultimate radio installation and CG

I just picked up an already built CG Ultimate from a guy. In setting the CG, do you hold a bipe by the top wing, bottom wing, upside down, etc...? Also, it says that the CG should be 1 7/8" - 2 7/8" on the bottom wing. Where do you measure from on the wing to get this?

Anybody want to share your CG point on the ultimate?

Also, everything is installed but the rx but I didn't see a great place to install it other than on top of the mounted battery that was included. Any advice or pics?

Thanks again guys!

Kevin

You hold it by the bottom wing upside down, measuring from the leading edge of the wing next to the fuse.

Oh yeah!

I didn't notice the your name, I just answered the question... Funny.

Mine I think is balanced pretty close to the middle of the recommended range, and i think I need to go further back it's pretty tame. (been flying the cap lately)

I mounted my RX kind of unconventionally, check my pic, it's in front of the stock servo tray zip tied to the piece of balsa.....

I put a seperate servo on each elevator half, and moved the throttle servo forward of the tray.

Take it easy!!

Thanks for the pics. I should get it in the air tomorrow. I've already got a fun day planned and great weather in the forcast. It's going to be the Ultimate Saturday I know, cheesy.
