Default Hangar 9 Super Stick 40... two stroke or 4 stroke?

I just got a Hangar 9 Super Stick 40 size and don't have a motor to put in it. Should I go four stroke or two stroke and does anyone have any recomendations as to which engine I should put in it. (The kit recomends .40-.46 2-stroke and .56-.82 4-stroke)

What engines do you already have? How much can you afford to spend on an engine? Most engines spend time on more than one airframe so planning ahead to your next airplane my help you make your decision...

GalenB, I had a OS .46 AX in my Kadet LT-40 but thats going to my step-brother as he's just starting to learn. That leaves me to go buy a new motor for the super stick. I have a 100$ish price cap on what I can spend on a motor...

Maybe a TT pro .46?
I like mine on my Ultra-Stick 40.

thanks for the advice, but I'm putting in an evolution 46. Found it at a good price.

Given your situtation I would get a cheap 40, OS 40 LA TT 42 GP, etc..., for the Kadet (it would fly on a strong .25!) and put the 46AX on the Super Stick... I would also use a larger low pitch prop, 11X5, 11X4, etc...
