who makes avatar and what type plane is it? is it still available? good for intermediate? good for floats?

If you mean the Avistar,it's by Hobbico,lot of people use them for beginners trainers,but on the box they are listed as aerobatic trainer,beginners and second plane pilots usually fly them,never seen any on floats but don't know why not,try one and let us know.

If oyu can put a 46FX or larger engine on the front, it will be good with floats. The 40LA is not strong enough for floats.

since i received no claim to avatar i guess the other thread about flying floats must be avistar which i am familiar with. thanks
