Default Installing radio gear

Hi guys, I am finishing up a Great Planes Extra 40. I have a flat battery pack that would fit under the servos. the battery would be touching the servos (seperated by foam of course). Is this a bad idea? Or is there nothing to worry about? Also, in general is it a good idea to keep the receiver away from the battery? Thanks!!

Put it where ever you want. Shouldn't be a problem next to the servos or receiver. Just make sure its secure.

No problem with the battery under the servos and no problem with the battery near the receiver.

As long as the foam isn't crushed and the cushion is maintained, you'll be ok with the battery under the servos.
