In this age of overpowering planes, a Saito .80 is fine. My .91 can pull it out of a stall and I take off around 1/2 - 3/4 throttle.

You'll probably just have to fly the plane vs the engine An old/new term these days. The extra power is fun but I honestly don't think it's a requirement.

Just my opinion, of course

If I'd had my druthers, I would've used either a Saito 91 or 100 instead of the 91FX...but those cost more $$$ I didn't have.

Hey Chuckr53, no slight intended on your engine choice.

I just didn't want Dream_Flyer to think he had to go out and get yet another engine or to feel he had to select a bigger engine; just because. There are folks flying it with a Saito .72.

We all just have to use what we have. (but I bet that .91 2-stroke whips the ol' hog across the tarmac eh?

Default Whewwwwww Thankya Thankya :o)

I do have a larger engine but I really didnt see the use in using a .91 when I have an .80 laying around. I just thought that since the hog is not a 3 D typ of plane the .80 which seems as if it is not that much less power than the .91 would move it around just fine.

Thank You all as usual for the input . Happy Flying.

I think you'll be happy with the 80. I don't plan to try 3D on my HB either.

You're right,

even my "favorites" link isn't working. I'd say try again in a day or so.

There's a fubar Hill forum here that's still active

Some times this page will come up, sometimes not!
Keep trying, it's worth it.
