Well, my wing mount threads keep on stripping out, and I am getting tired of putting ca, and retapping the threads. I was wondering If I could get away with a insert, like the pict ( the wing is going to rip out on me one of these days[&o] )

You can use the insert or a blind nut.

The blind nut (Might be called a Tee nut?) are available at most hardware stores and at places like Lowe's and Home depot.

I had the same problem and just drilled them out and install 1/4X20 nylon bolts.

I had 1/4-20 Dubro black plastic screws in mine. Never had any trouble.
