Here is an intreseting cover scheme for the LT-40. this is my dads plane, he built it and i covered it. the covering is based off a cessna 195 that had this paint job. modifications include bolt on wings, aluminum airfoiled wing struts, taildragger conversion, steerable tail wheel, taller main gear, robart wheels, reshaped tail surfaces, and flaps (full flap can go to 40 degrees!), 2 aileron servos. hitec radio gear, saito .82 for power!

thanks for the complements, the max flap we have programed into the radio is about 20 degrees. it hasent been flown yet so we will have to experemnt a bit with it. but if we do need that 40 degrees of flap to land in 2 feet we can do it. the saito is a little big for the plane but who says you need to fly at full throttle all the time? this will be a high performance STOL trainer!

the madien flight wont be until the weather warms up a bit. my dad loves doing conversions and stuff with these planes, he has a LT-25 in WWII german colors, now the LT-40 in USAF colors, he just ordered another LT-40 to convert it to look more like a German 156 storch, with scale working landing gear. i myself prefer aerobatics and 3d.

i think it is a 14x6, it does look big, it was the prop we had laying around that was all drilled out and it looked ok on the plane for pictures.
