My removable 4*60 tank floor for 14oz GP
My 14oz GP tank had a problem coming out of the former..as it does with all the 4*s.
I was thinking of placing the original floor much lower, but it would be just TOO low... the half point would be more than an inch from the needle valve.. so i decided to make a removable floor instead... There were many other options available.. but this one, kept the former the same size (it was thin enough) and made it very easy to remove the tank.

My removable 4*60 tank floor for 14oz GP
thanks a lot!
This was one thing that I didn't plan to do.. it just kinda poped up while I was building. I do have planned modifications that I haven't seen anywhere else. And I'm not talking about hardware... but the shape of the plane it self. I'll share some photos with you when I get there )

it will be impossible.. or atleast you're going to pay a lot of money to have "www.kitbash.com" for 4*.. why? cause it's taken already!
but it's a good idea....
I'm a web developer my self.. so I will be happy to do a very nice lookin site.. as long as people send me their mods.....

wow
Yea, I just think a central depository of 4* ideas would would be really nice. There's a Venture 60 site someone has put together that's real neat.
This a one of those kits that help fend off the ARF take over. I wish there more of these types.

Hi Everyone
Great looking removable floor for the tank ebeygin
Hey, I agree with you guy's. I think there are about 4 or 5 of us running posts on here showing our 4* builds, and the bashing we've done I think everyone has had some great ideas (most of them have already been done before, but since these are our first Kit builds, everyone has been nice enough to give us pats on the back ). I think a site for the 4 Star sounds great I've been to the Venture 60 site and like it.
I've got 60+ pics posted on my MSN photo gallery of my entire build so far, but I can't figure out how to give open access to it with a link in RCU on my kit build post.
Keep up the good work........

I have also built a collection of pictures (better quality than the tank ones) of my plane construction....
lets get some more people.. and i can start making the site...and with your suggestions and ideas - I'll have it done faster and better...

Nice work Ebeygin! I agree with the kitbash website. I love the renderworx site with the cowl (although I chickened out and built the standard cheeks)
I did modify the canopy and am in the process of making a mock cockpit gauges and a "Gene Simmons" in makeup pilot complete with turning action with rudder
I built two right wings, and in the process of waiting for new wood, I have time on my hands for "little projects" like this.

Oh yea, forgot why I was posting... I was thinking of making a fuel hatch, cut out the bottom and make a door so the tank is accessible. I have the same 14oz and that puppy aint coming out with the fuse in one piece...
