Default First Kit - Park Flyer Ideas?

I'm new to kit building and want to try something small and quick to build. Ultimately, I want to build the GP CAP 232 .40 size kit and want to get some quick experience first.

I need a plane to fly at the neighborhood school, so I was thinking a park/slo flyer; maybe the GP Tutor Trainer? Would this kit give me enough techniques/experience to attempt the CAP 232 this spring?

Any other kit suggestions?

Scott

Mountain Models located in Colorado. Good balsa kits.

Mountain Models certainly has an interesting line-up! The Dandy Sport looks to be just the kind of model I'm looking for. I will keep their site in my favorites.

Thanks,

Scott
